Since the Empire got an E-Web the Rebel scum deserved a little fire support. So I got a box of Veterans which comes with an Mk II medium blaster. I almost pity them with their poor budget and even poorer weapons...

On a serious note I have always loved how Lucasfilm repurposed so many weapons from WWII. The blaster rifles the rebels carried being SG44s. The MkII looks like it’s a Browning, or Vickers, or Maxim gun.

Have now added Cad Bane. I know he’s from the Clone Wars time line, but loved the character and the mini is just awesome! And if I live long enough I will be doing a Clone Wars era army as well. Gotta leave something for the boys to inherit

And Agent Kallus has arrived as well. There are 2 build options, one with the shorter pike/gun or this. I decided to give him the helmet and longer pike. Will get another in the future so he can show off his mutton chops.

Finished the Rebel scum veterans. I was worried about how the Sulustan would turn out, think I did ok.

Also finished the heroic Stormtroopers and now have a full sized squad. Will get all together later for a group shot.

Thank you. And yes I got the “Old” reference. Gonna be a long while before I do any First Order stuff, especially since they don’t make em yet, lol. But will eventually get into the Clone Wars.

Ok folks back in action here as well.

My first Inferno trooper. A big hulking Wookie, because what rebel scum wouldn’t hire these primitive beasts! Have a full squad of them that I will be doing and will post squad pics when done. And finally the rebel scum have been shining on about no heavy weapons. Well here it is! Good luck using it against AT ATs…

Not Star Wars as you can see. This is Major Dutch Schaefer from Prodos AvP game. Really great game and minis. I have a couple of squads of Weyland-Yutani commandos and sentry guns as well. I saw this mini when the promo came out but missed getting it. Few weeks ago found it on eBay, in Russia, and ordered it. Gotta give the Russians credit they ship fast! Long live the Rodina!

Anyway…just love the pose and the fact that he’s smoking a Ceegar. Those of you familiar with Hoots knows he loves a ceegar. IF I were to ever get back into 40k I think this would make a great Hoots mini. Armed with a power fist and bolter.

Anther Wookie for the rebel scum. This is the Sgt, or war leader or whatever these uncivilized beasts refer to themselves.

This mini was really fun to paint. I really enjoyed adding the details of his equipment and even went over and gave him some white highlights to show his age and experience.

Another heroic Inferno trooper. Obviously the squad sniper. He’ll actually hit his target because he took his helmet off.

My first Death Trooper. I know they are supposed to be black on black, but I thought red “Blood Stripes” would make it look even better. And the gray shoulder pads are just to denote his squad/unit.
