A New Squat Army

@CB - The kneeling one is going to be a vox operator . The one next to him is going to be a 'boring' Sgt (so he will fit in anywhere... rather than being really individual, with a cuppa and a big smile - He'll be getting a las-pistol and hammer).

They look great and a kneeling Vox Op is a good idea. Will he have a head set on and be a separate head so you can use other Troopers as Vox Ops? Also will the Sgt be sculptured so that you can do weapon changes?

They'll be single cast... but I'll likely sculpt alternative heads on cast bodies. I don't/won't sculpt separate heads... and separate weapons will be limited to special and heavy weapons.

I'm not sure how I'm going to do the vox trooper yet... he may even end up with a lap-top ...

I'm sorry to hear about your posting issues... hopefully, yours will arrive VERY soon .

I've now finished a bunch of troopers. I am just painting their ID disks blue, at the moment but I plan on painting the right side with a platoon colour (at some point). I have four more to go and then I've run out of troopers to paint :

Mate they are go so Squat, awesome job. I really like the variations in skin tones, it really adds a level of differences to the troopers.

The variations in skin tones help to make the same casts a bit different to one another... it's also something that I really wanted to do in this army because most of my other armies lack variations in skin-colour.

I also want to add some female troopers to this project at some point (NOT until I have sculpted The male ones though - as sad as it seems, the males are more likely to sell ).. something that is really lacking in most Squat armies.

That's great, but I'm still waiting my original Kick-starter Troopers. That said I will, be over later today buying some more to round out my new Platoon. Remember I have your original SGT so if they are as good as him I'm happy to buy more.

I'm glad you like them and I really look forward to seeing some of yours painted .

All my painting things are out of sight now... only the unusually warm weather is stopping me sculpting... but I have another week off work next week so I am hoping to get some more sculpts progressed, if not finished .
