Cheers... here are the latest additions; two Special Weapon troopers:
They still need basing tabs and the separate weapons making (4 of them: Melta, Flamer, Plasma and Grenade Launcher) but the Squat part is finished.

The first of the special weapons is done... just three more to go now...
Chem-Burnner - A flamer weapon that uses chemical reaction of mixed elements, rather than needing a pilot light to ignite fuel. Two chemicals are loaded into separate tanks and pumped forward into a combining nozzle which ejects the mixture before it reacts and bursts into streams of liquid flame. The weapon tends to be quite long in order to reduce the risk of burning the operator. The weapon counts as a standard flamer in all respects.

Really spectacular Inso; amazing work. It's like magic what some of you do with green stuff- I'm struggling just making a stone wall...![]()

All of the miniatures that I post in this thread SHOULD become available at some point (unless I make mention that I have converted some for my own use). If I had been quicker sculpting the special weapons, there would have been 7 sculpts/conversions, already at Macrocosm, getting cast... but the weapons are taking a bit of time because they are very fiddly.

Inso,
Finally I can make a comment, they are great. Very impressed and when do they go to Kickstarter?
Also, when I received my last lot of Troopers the Sgt had a Helmet and there was another Officer / Commissar that had Power Fist. They sure looked like your work. I will be starting mine this weekend.

I'm not sure about the sgt with helmet or the powerfist officer... I didn't sculpt them. Do you have an image? Chris (from Macrocosm) may have converted or sculpted them... he tinkers with the casts for more variety and is more than capable of sculpting full miniatures. Alternatively, one of his other sculptors may have done it.
I only sculpt them... so I'll find out if they go to Kickstarter when everyone else does.

Yep. My Sgt, My Sgt with a Macrocosm head and then a Bob Olley officer (which could be a conversion of my Berserker, looking at his boots and pouches).
I'll have to be careful when I talk about my stuff because Chris may alter it before it gets put on the Macrocosm site... I think he also needs to be careful because he hasn't got images of those on the site and I'd be peeved if I ordered a miniature and got a different one...

Inso,
These ones were additions to my order. So received the sets I wanted and then I had these two guys and a extra commissar. Could be because they missed doing my order in the beginning of the distribution

That's OK then. At least you didn't get the wrong ones.

In other news, Macrocosm are having another Kickstarter... this time for Bob Olley 'scrunts' with a few other conversions:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...es/description
My Berserker has been used to make the Commissars and the Psyker (yes, you have one of them, CJ) but alas... no credit for me...
I have often mentioned that I dislike the Olley style (I'm sure he's a lovely chap but I have never liked his sculpting style... you can't like everything, can you?) so I am not sure how I feel about his work being amalgamated with mine... but I guess it is, what it is...

Inso,
I tend to agree with, except with the original Ogryns he did. I like the style of them and have they are uniformed and kitted out. I think they have the best Ripper Gun as well. That said his Scrunts I have bought at odd times and have always sold them on. I am interested in getting the Pskyer figure

Finally... all the special weapons are finished(and there are no 'invisible pattern' ones either
)! 4 special weapons and 2 trooper bodies:
Flamer:
Plasma:
Melta:
Grenade Launcher:
Now I'll get these sent off with the other five and wait to see how the casts turn out. I will also take a short sculpting break, before the next Dwarf Sculpts
.
As a point of note, these will be in a future Kickstarter... NOT the current Macrocosm one that I linked to earlier.

Inso,
Support Weapons Troopers looks good. I really like the Plasma and Grenade Launcher weapons. I'm looking forward to this Kickstarter as I will need 5 -6 sets of these Troopers to complete my Platoon.
