Looking great so far
I like it a lot. The sloped walls are really smart; practical for gaming and look really good. What else are you planning for walls other than junctions and different length sections?

I've been experimenting and did some playing with a potential panel door, and some text but have been working mainly on the fit of them so they line up together and click together as expected without any protrusions.
This lockdown thing has been very productive so i've got a lot further on than I expected to be at this time. Pictures below.

These look great, I bet they'll make one hell of a board.
I have a 6ft by 4ft table that i'm using for modelling sp I plan to fill that eventually.
I have vague plans (nothing on paper or computer yet) for the following
3 tile room
5 tile room
2, 3, 4 and 5 tile corridors (the first pictures that I posted, I did the maths wrong and they didn't match up correctly so that doesn't count)
large T piece with 5 tiles on length rather than the three as above
Some dead end pieces with various panels
Moveable doors
Long term, I'm thinking of making different floor plates with differently engraved tiles, arrows etc.. so I can do more than one style.
My nephew asked me about doing some with exposed interiors, and truss-work so he could put in pipes and wiring etc.. which is another option. I did think a little along these lines which is why the end panels have those oblong holes in but I was thinking leds and maybe some acrylic panels but that's just a maybe for in the future.
Cool, look forward to seeing more.
Impressively sized project.
Cheers,
CB

Hi
I re-mastered the first piece and made it a 3 square corridor to match the other pieces in size, then started on the larger T piece. The first burn had four components that were wrong and needed tweaking (schoolboy errors in design) and i've just redone those parts and done a dry assembly.
They all fit and all match up to each other as intended, and i'm about 70% of the way through designing a 3 square room, but have run out of supplies of hdf until B&Q open properly and start operating their cutting service.
While I wait i'll work on the 5 square room design, and some dead ends.
ArcanumFutura,
Are you going to paint them at some point or leave them as is?
Cheers,
CB

I am missing both rooms, some dead ends and i'm toying with the idea of attempting some ladders, steps and hatches.
@ Codsticker - Thank you - I need to burn the same thing but opened, but have been working on some other doors while I wait for my material supply to get back to normal. I've also had a little mess about with some texture on the wall panel offcuts.
Here's my current progress.
I still have a lot to do, but so far i'm pleased with the progress. Back at work now though so it's going slower than before.
They look cool.
Maybe when it comes to painting you could try out the schemes on some spare / scrap sections to get a feel of how it'll work and so you can practice if you're unsure of the best way to go about it.
More good work ArcanumFutura.

@ArcanumFutura - Have you considered selling them as flat-pack kits?
@ Lost Egg - That's a great idea, I have a pile of offcuts, floor-plate early drafts and early part built protos with the wrong measurements etc..
@ CB - Thank you.
@ Philip S - I hadn't no, especially since I only have a basic hobby engraver/cutter, but i've had a fair few enquiries along those lines and I am coming round to the idea once I have the full set designed.

I've got about 90% of the way through the 3 square room design (Just the wall panels to finish measurements for) and will be burning a set of test pieces this weekend. ( I cannibalised a part built game board carcass to get the sheet material)
@ArcanumFutura - do you have a 3D resin printer too?
No, I don't have one of those, and know absolutely nothing about 3d designing. I just bought a k40 laser off ebay and started playing around to learn the settings.
@ArcanumFutura - 3D isn't that hard these days, and there's a new Blender out that you can use. I was thinking you could make add-ons for your floor tiles?
