    Chartist Captain,

    Another nice addition.

For signage, there must be dozens of sites that have free posters and signs that you can download and print. The signs on my last building were from a WD that featured City Fight. I just scanned them, printed them out and mounted them on some cardboard.

Yaktribe has downloadable signs and other paraphernalia.

    Cheers,

Thanks guys! I finished another building from Knight of Dice, Easy District range. Really happy with how the colors came out. You also see some monorail pieces as my girlfriend surprised me with the complete KoD monorail bundle for Christmas...she's a keeper!

The Knight of Dice Apartment looks like a very useful structure with lots of levels.

Re: Port Orleans: An over crowded 40k City

I finished the monorail, very pleased with how it came out.
Second, I finished a foundation tile from LOSblock. I have more foundation pieces on order from them to make a large footprint with customizable store fronts, sidings, and stairs upon which I can place their nice scifi buildings. They will be significantly taller than my other buildings to represent more modern development in the nicer/comercial part of town.

Yeah, the monorail looks great. I like the Ubermarkt too- where Uber Marines shop.

It's wonderful to see that there is at least one city in the 40K universe which isn't rubble!

Re: Port Orleans: An over crowded 40k City

    Port Orleans continues to expand:

Barron Lebowski started off as a mate on a merchant man. Enemy activity in the sub sector was nearly overwhelming naval forces at the time and made getting supplies in and out of port exceedingly difficult. Many shippers claimed force majeure. Lebowski however had an eye for opportunity and was able to chart safe passage through the dangers quickly earning him a Captain’s billet. Not all voyages were without incident though and on one particular occasion a parting shot from an outmaneuvered ork frigate glanced the bridge taking out some communications equipment and Lewboski’s eye. Lewboski continued to make successful voyages despite the difficulties earning him great respect and profitable contracts due to his reliability. Eventually Lewbowski was able to put the fortunes he had acquired and his eye (now augmented)for opportunity to use in other ventures which proved quite successful earning him the title Barron. The Barron's flagship enterprise is Dark Logistics Inc., a common carrier that specializes in maintaining supply chains further out into the Ghoul Stars than Port Orleans. Barron Lebowski serves on the governing administrative council for Port Orleans and is commissioner on commercial code, trade, and tariffs. He proudly wears the medals he earned from his freighter service and is viewed by the city as a champion for efficient and creative business practices.
