WARLORD TRAITS
If your Warlord is an Arch-Heretek, you can either roll a D6 on one of the Warlord Traits tables in Warhammer 40,000: The Rules, or roll a D6 on either the Cybertheurgist, Empyric Engineer, Forge Master or Gene-sculptor Warlord Traits table below.

If your Warlord is any other Dark Mechanicum model, you can either roll a D6 on one of the Warlord Trait Tables in Warhammer 40,000: The Rules, or roll a D3 on either the Cybertheurgist, Empyric Engineer, Forge Master or Gene-sculptor Warlord Traits table below.

If a model has a Discipline of Techno-Heresy, they may only roll on the corresponding Warlord Traits table below. For example; an Arch-Heretek with the Empyric Engineer Discipline of Techno-Heresy may only roll a D6 on either one of the Warlord Traits tables in Warhammer 40,000: The Rules, or roll a D6 on Empyric Engineer Warlord Traits table below.


CYBETHEURGIST WARLORD TRAITS TABLE

Warlord Trait
1 Reinforced Exoskeleton:
Your Warlord has the Eternal Warrior special rule.
2 Dread Rites:
Your Warlord, and any unit they join, both cause Fear and are immune to its effects, and have the Adamantium Will special rule.
3 Masterwork Bionics:
Your Warlord can re-roll failed Feel No Pain rolls.
4 Cybernetic Clarity:
Your Warlord and his unit fire Overwatch using their normal Ballistic Skill characteristic.
5 Tactical Intelligence Core:
During Deployment, before deploying Infiltrators and before Scouts redeploy, choose one Warhammer 40,000 Codex. Your Warlord and his unit have the Preferred Enemy special rule against all enemy units from that codex.
6 Forbidden Protocols:
All Cybernetica Cortex-equipped models in the same Detachment as your Warlord may make Sweeping Advances and Run moves contrary to the normal rules for such units.
EMPYRIC ENGINEER WARLORD TRAITS TABLE

Your Warlord, and any unit they join, both cause Fear and are immune to its effects, and have the Adamantium Will special rule.
3 Masterwork Bionics:
Your Warlord can re-roll failed Feel No Pain rolls.
4 Tech-witch:
Your Warlord has the Master of Mechanisms special rule.
5 Death to the Servants of Mars:
Your Warlord, and his unit, have the Hatred (Cult Mechanicus) and Hatred (Skitarii) special rules.
6 Empyreal Conduit:
Each Psychic Phase, while your Warlord is alive and on the battlefield, add D3 additional dice to your Warp Charge pool.
FORGE MASTER WARLORD TRAITS TABLE

1 Reinforced Exoskeleton:
Your Warlord has the Eternal Warrior special rule.
2 Dread Rites:
Your Warlord, and any unit they join, both cause Fear and are immune to its effects, and have the Adamantium Will special rule.
3 Masterwork Bionics:
Your Warlord can re-roll failed Feel No Pain rolls.
4 Implacable Advance:
Your Warlord, and all friendly units with the Dark Mechanicum Faction within 12” of him, roll an additional D6 and keep the two lowest dice when making Morale checks, Pinning tests and Fear tests.
5 The Death of Flesh:
All models in the same Detachment as your Warlord have the Preferred Enemy (Infantry) special rule while within 3” of an objective.
6 Archaeotech Specialist:
When your Warlord, or his unit, discovers a Mysterious Objective, instead of rolling to identify it, you can choose which result the on the Mysterious Objective table (see Warhammer 40,000: The Rules) to apply to that objective for the rest of the game.
GENE-SCULPTOR WARLORD TRAITS TABLE

Warlord Trait
1 Reinforced Exoskeleton:
Your Warlord has the Eternal Warrior special rule.
2 Dread Rites:
Your Warlord, and any unit they join, both cause Fear and are immune to its effects, and have the Adamantium Will special rule.
3 Masterwork Bionics:
Your Warlord can re-roll failed Feel No Pain rolls.
4 Torturer:
Your Warlord has the Fear special rule. In addition, if your Warlord slays an enemy character in a challenge, he instantly gains the Preferred Enemy special rule against all units from the same codex as the slain character.
5 Gene-splicer:
When rolling to determine which Mutations your Warlord has, roll an additional D6 for each Lesser/Greater/Exalted Mutation your Warlord has, discarding the lowest dice to establish each Lesser/Greater/Exalted Mutation.
6 Master Chirurgeon:
Your Warlord, and any unit they join, add 1 to the result of any Feel No Pain rolls.
FACTION AND ALLIES
All models in Codex: Dark Mechanicum have the Dark Mechanicum Faction. Models with the Dark Mechanicum Faction have the following levels of alliance with other units from different Factions in the same army:

Battle Brothers: Chaos Daemons, Chaos Space Marines.

Allies of Convenience: Astra Millitarum, Cult Mechanicus, Imperial Knights, Skitarii.

Desperate Allies: All other Armies of the Imperium, Dark Eldar, Eldar, Harlequins, Tau Empire.

Come the Apocalypse: Genestealer Cults, Necrons, Orks, Tyranids.
