    A former company commander of the 39th Cadian infantry regiment, known as the "Xenobane", Marcus Sang entered Alessandra's employ after the disastrous Imperial campaign against Dark Eldar from the Kabal of the Baleful Gaze on the Hive World of Ichorax. Sang was one of a handful of men and women from his company who survived the brutal city fighting on the planet before Alessandra's arrival in-system, the Inquisitor accompanying Imperial reinforcements to the conflict - several additional regiments of Astra Militarum as well as a whole company of Astartes from the Salamanders Chapter. Sang earned his place in Alessandra's retinue when he volunteered to lead the ragged remains of his company in assistance of a daring raid to destroy the Dark Eldar's Webway portal beneath the planet's surface. Though less than one in ten of his company survived the mission, Sang and his fellow soldiers managed to establish a tenable beachhead long enough for the Adeptus Astartes to complete the mission, destroying the Webway portal and killing the Archon leading the Kabal's forces on the planet.

    Macharia's Fury: A heavily modified Mark XXXV Magnacore Pattern Plasma Gun, Macharia's Fury boasts a higher rate of fire than standard Plasma Guns - albeit at a slightly shorter than standard range - with Magos Errant Tarshish's modifications eliminating many of the usual drawbacks and dangers of Imperial plasma weapons. The same cannot be said when the weapon is fired on its deadly overcharged setting, however.

    Magos Errant Tarshish is, like most Tech-priests, a strange and capricious fellow to those uninitiated in the ways of the Machine Cult. To those with any dealing or experience with the priests of Mars, Tarshish is a veritable font of conversation and human emotions. He is also regarded as somewhat of a maverick amongst his peers, his unorthodox methodology and independent-minded nature leaving some amongst his Ordo to condemn him as a heretic. In fact, without Alessandra's timely intervention, Magos Errant Tarshish would have long ago found himself condemned of tech-heresy, either being executed outright or having all his cybernetic implants painfully removed and his organic remains transformed into a mindless Servitor as punishment. Instead, Tarshish continues to indulge in his nonconformist ways, his expertise now turned to the aid of Inquisitor Crass, her retinue, and the Ordo Xenos as a whole - the Magos Errant's technological expertise, and the esoteric (and highly devastating) weaponry at his disposal having saved Alessandra and her companions' lives several times over.

    Magos Errant: If Magos Errant Tarshish is your army's Warlord, he never has a Warlord Trait.

    Ministrations of the Omnissiah: In each of your Shooting phases, instead of firing one of his weapons (controlling player’s choice), Magos Errant Tarshish can choose either to repair a single friendly vehicle that he is in base contact with or embarked upon, or to restore a Wound lost earlier in the battle. To do either, roll a D6. If the result is a 2 or more, your attempt was successful: if repairing a vehicle you may restore a Hull Point that the nominated vehicle lost earlier in the battle, or repair a Weapon Destroyed or Immobilised result suffered earlier in the battle; this is effective immediately. If restoring a Wound, either Tarshish, any Leyak Battle Carrier he has taken as an upgrade, or any model with the Skitarii or Cult Mechanicus Faction in his unit regains a Wound lost earlier in the battle; this is effective immediately.

    The Breath of Mars: Discovered in the ruins of a long-abandoned Forge World by one of Magos Errant Tarshish's former colleagues, this unknown pattern of Flamer houses an especially aggressive Machine Spirt, its incendiary wrath - combined with the great gouts of burning, thrice-blessed promethium the weapon fires - capable of turning a technoheretic into foul tallow in a matter of seconds. Such is the potency of the weapon's Machine Spirit, that it will continue to fight long after its wielder has been incapacitated.

    Originally a Skitarii Ranger under the command of Magos Errant Tarshish, Theta-xi 54 was, at some unknown point in time, damaged so severely that his ruined body had to be repaired with the addition of slender but powerful metal limbs, and numerous artificial organs, both vat-grown and bionic. As a Sicarian Infiltrator Theta-xi's aptitude for murder truly blossomed, leading his clade throughout several demanding planetary expeditions, defending Tarshish's life and executing his enemies with equal efficiency. It wasn't until the ill-fated exploration of Haxan Prime that Theta-xi earned his place at Tarshish's side as the Magos Errant's protector and bodyguard - the Infiltrator Princeps alone out of Tarshish's forces managing to survive the ambush that all but eradicated the explorator fleet's expeditionary forces, carrying his master's damaged and unconscious body to safety.

    PROCTOR SIBÉAL MULCAHY

    Once a decorated and respected Adeptus Arbites riot squad leader on a forsaken frontier world, now Proctor Sibéal Mulcahy is the primary Enforcer of Alessandra's retinue and a skilled Interrogator. Mulcahy can often be found operating independently from the main forces of the Warband when on Imperial-held worlds, her and her fellow Proctor, Jorden, moving in advance of their companions to gather information and collect leads on their mistress's quarry. Outside of investigations, Mulchay arms herself in a similar fashion to her Adeptus Arbites days: armoured in her battle-worn riot armour, and equipped with her trusty shock maul and combat shotgun. In combat, Milchay can almost be guaranteed to be in the thick of it, her well trained and exhaustively drilled physique in constant motion, ensuring no lowlife scum can come too close to her mistress, at least, not while conscious.
