A Tank A Month

Hail Warseer! I'm so glad this place is still here.

It's been a loooonnng time since I posted here, so I thought I'd start posting again with a bang. Or rather a rumble of tracks...







This is Vanquisher A1 Annihilation of A Troop, Blue Company, Black Battalion, Paradisan CDXX Armoured Regiment.

My plan is to get a tank a month and by the end of the year have a full 2,000 point Armoured Company list using the Arks of Omen force org chart - 1 HQ, 4 Heavy Support options. So you lot will get to see this plog steadily grind towards victory by December.

Camouflage is inspired by the late WW1 German buntfarbanstrich pattern that was applied to steel helmets, body armour, machine-gun shields, some of their tanks, and so on.

I'll probably dirty them all down once I finish the whole force, which will eventually consist of:

1x Rogal Dorn (company command tank)
1x Commissar Vanquisher
3x Vanquishers (troop commanders)
6x Leman Russ (troop vehicles)

As an aside, I'm really miffed that the new reboxed Leman Russ is missing the accessory sprue

Yes, it's just a shame it's so many points! I wanted three, but then I wouldn't have a tank company

Just found out the Rogal Dorn has a belly issue. It is missing one. A little bit of work will be necessary to fix.

Yeah - my current plan is a piece of card - but there are some interesting options out there.
