As many of you have noticed we have a shinny new logo on WarSeer. I have to thank Machine God and his artist for creating it. We are probably going to be tweaking more of the site layout in the next few weeks so watch for further improvements.

While the logo is great and all, the site is now all messed up for me, everything is stretched all to the right now. So I have to scroll across for rumours and search, or allow my Browser to be at full screen, which isn't pretty (and actually seems to be giving me a headache...).
Edit: Ok seems the reason I'm getting a headache trying to read the site now, has to do with the annoying charcol colour on the left (surrounding the Avatars and such), trying to read white text on a black backround + a light charcol grey isn't fun.
I know you said you'd be tweaking the site so I thought I'd mention this right away.

That part of the style hasn't changed. The new logo should only be slightly wider and thus shouldn't cause scroll bars. Out of interest how wide is your browser window normally?Originally Posted by Heru Talon

@Nick: Would you care to fix the redirect on the www.portent.net/forums to the Warseer forums? It's not looking that nice right now.

This is a screen of my desktop with the browser at my normal size (which the Warseer site used to fit in would need of scrolling).
My Desktop at 1024 by 768
I have to have the browser window take up the full screen to get rid of the scroll bit.
And I'm sure the charcoal grey wasn't there before, as my avatar used to blend into the black backround...

Great adition!!!! Actually, I already had the Warseer page pre-loaded on the browser (I use opera) and realised that the new logo is there when I first reloaded to a new page. I have a 1280x1024 resolution and it's just great. It's very foreboding. Well done!

The old format use to make the logo and ads overlap. This version makes that as 2 seperate images instead of one as a bg and one as a normal image. This forces the browser to keep its size.
Maybe nick can bring it back to the old way just to allow the 800x600 users to not have a hscroll.

I dont know if this has been brought up or is linked to the new logo, ( which looks awesome btw) But from the home page when i click to the "view new posts" on the left hand side of the screen i get sent to basicly to a timed out or error screen. I forget what it actually says but it doesnt take me to the newer posts. Thnx guys.

New logo is..., great, yep, great is the right word
logo looks awesome, but i'm having a bit of a problem with it. i seem to be getting the top of the "wings" bit by where the ads are, then the whole logo repeats itself over the top.
not a computer person by any stretch of the imagination, so i have no idea what's causing it! i'll try and put up a picute of what it looks like so i don't have to describe it badly.
