    Bounty Hunter and Classic Dwarf

    Hi all!
Thought i'd give you all an update on what i've been doing, as always it's full steam ahead on commission work.

First up is a Bounty hunter for a hive gang, i stuck to the classic colours on this guy but really wanted a pale brown jacket on him with a muddy edge to it to give him a "wild west" look. I'm pleased with the overall look of the fig as he looks like he belongs in a hive and the blanche style colours help out with this.

Then i was asked to paint a classic Dwarf on skis, first off i was pleased with how clean and sharp this fig was given its age and all. I went for muted colours on this guy and really wanted to give him a grizzled look. I used pale browns and creams and set it off with most of the colour on his face and hands to show how freezing he is! to finish he had to go on a snow base so i put a large blob of putty onto a base and smoothed it into shape over some rocks. when dry i stippled white over spacewolves grey to give it a "fluffy" texture.

Here are the pics of them finished and a couple of voting links, any comments and questions are always welcome! cheers all! Daz.

    p.s Golden demon next!!

The eyes on the Dwarf add a real expression to the mini, I love that. The way you did the browns on him make them look very...wood-like, which is fantastic. Your painting skills border on mutant-superpowers.
One thing though, the purity seals on the inside of the bounty hunter's cloak, it looks like you spilled some purple there, or is that just brown shading?

Nice painting as always razza, nothing above your usual standard though. The bounty hunter could have done with converting, to much imperial iconography and even though bounty hunters are hardcore, you wont live long impersonating the inquisition especially with their badge dangling on your chest.

That dwarf os one of my all time fave figs... nice one - really done it justice.

The Bounty hunter is cool too. The checks on the boot look a little washed out, grey almost - is that deliberate?

Wow, both are fantastic, but the dwarf is just a masterpiece. The colours really make him a masterpiece.

I wish you'd paint a model just once, that looked rubbish!
not doing my ego any good this exception standard you have.
