Thanks for sharing your superb work and for the inspiration!

You asked for it, got the Bar done, was a shop, but I thought it'd be better as a bar, plus I wanted to make a bartender

I threw together an old outback dunny:

And all wasteland buildings need mindless graffiti :

While tinkering in the shed, I put these together, just need a church or mansion to sit behind them:

I'd made these last week, or two weeks ago, when Warseer was being dodgey. Very Fallout orientated!!

Awesome stuff, man. Very inspiring (maybe even more than your wasteland conversions - for me, that is ). We're planning to do some urban terrain with our group (some first pieces to see in my Vossie project log), plus I'll be moving to a new appartment soon, so there'll be finally some place for a gaming board. I think a good portion of it shall be of a Rossy origin
    Keep it up!

Awesome! This must be some of the most original scenery stuff I've seen, everything is very good; from the bar down to the bedsheets! Keep up the good work!

TheBedla, glenning, N810, firestorm40k, thanks guys!! Your responses have inspired me

In fact, I spent the day in the shed setting up building base boards, affixing wall pillars (you know, the upright corner thingies), and attaching walls. It's too dark for pics (6.41pm here) so I'll get some up tomorrow. Might even have a painted surprise for you. (I said it was painted, no promises on how you'll like it )

Awesome scenery man, I like the way you went for the Fallout feel, which really works.

Fantastic! The bar is even pretty much identical to the one in Fallout 2 (The Den, IIRC). Except for the fact that it would have been great to have some kind of gaming mat on the bare wood of the table, this terrain wins the internet.

    Re: The wasteland scenery sets

Thanks guys I'll take some shots of the WIP stuff I did yesterday with the furniture set up so you can get an idea of what I'm planning.

The bar was 'sort-of' based on the one in Geko, you know the Harp? The one with the Tragic playing ghoul? Due to the delapidated look the town has I've chosen it as one I'd like to re-create (for the most part ). Ove I've done a 4'x4' table of terrain like that, I'll then move onto a more New Reno look (multi-story buildings), then onto a Seattle/Shadowrun scenery set.

    Well, that's the plan

    Re: The wasteland scenery sets

Just some themed terrain, adds flovour to the town (it's a garden by the way, the likes you'd see in the Fallout games and other RPG PC games!!)

Here's some quick shots of what I got up to yesterday:

I've finished two more shanty town wasteland buildings, time consuming this!!

I'll throw some interior shot's once I've done some more furniture (well, paint some more).

Excellent work, Ross, loving the rust effect! Just out of interest, do you paint a metallic colour (eg Boltgun Metal) over the rust, or is it just a grey colour? Either way, it looks very realistic, well done!
